Sacred Dance

Round dances are part of our oldest cultural heritage. As a symbol of life cycles and the swinging cosmos, they move around a center or weave threads of life. When repeating simple forms of dance, the dancers find their way to the common and to their own center.

"Ancient move" - ​​Old music that moves - that's what I called my project "Spirit Antiqua", the interpretations of the songs of Hildegard von Bingen. I now complement the inner movement through listening to the medieval songs by dancing, in which the depth and power of the music is also a directly physical experience.

I received my training as a sacred dance teacher from Maria-Gabriele Wosien as well as further education with Susanne Anders-Bartholomäi in Dance Meditation.

In my dance offerings we dance to songs by Hildegard von Bingen as well as other sacral and folkloristic music, from calm and contemplative to cheerful and vivid.
